(360/365 - Feb. 17, 2012) The Boy is learning to be a codemaster. He took time this morning, between bites of breakfast, to decode a message. Then he created his own. I love that he would rather do this kind of stuff than run to the TV to watch a cartoon. He got some marbles, too, and he loves to play with those. But his favorite recent gift (Valentine’s Day) was a pack of flash cards with all 50 states and D.C. on them. He goes through each one and reads off all the key details. The Boy loves to learn!

(342/365 - Jan. 30, 2012) I surprised my son today by joining him for lunch at his school! You should have seen the look on his face when he saw me standing in the hall waiting for him. “DAAAAADDY!” Take THAT, Monday!

(312/365 - Dec. 31, 2011) Christmas 4.0 for the Boy resulted in a new Virginia Tech t-shirt and a new pair of camo pants. He’s ready to go hunting with his old man!
